In january 2015 city madiun experienced inflation -0,05 percent with the consumer price index is 116,77 ( the consumer price .The city fell from 8 in east java , three capital city experienced inflation and 5 ( five ) cities deflation .The highest inflation occurring in surabaya 118,29 0,41 percent of the consumer price inflation and with the lowest happened in malang 119,21 0.04 percent with the consumer price .Occurring in the highest deflation sumenep 116,98 -0,27 percent of the consumer price and with the lowest deflation of occurring in madiun 116,77 -0,05 percent with the consumer price .Deflation in madiun happened because of the city quite significan in the price index indicated by a drop in the transport group , communication and financial services of experienced deflation 3,65 percent .
