august 2015 city madiun inflation 0,08 percent and the consumer price
index ( ihk ) of 118,79 .The whole city counters national inflation in
east java ( 8 city ) inflation .The highest inflation occurred in the
town of 0,48 surabaya percent and ihk 120,83 while the lowest inflation
happened in 3 ( three ) district / cities kotaprobolinggo , sumenep
district , and cities kediri masing-masing of 0,02 percent and ihk
probolinggo 120,36 city , district sumenep of 118,76 , and cities kediri
119,65 .Inflation in the city in may occur because of to price
increases in all groups except in the transport , communication and
financial services .In foodstuff group increased by 0,27 percent ,
instant food , cigarettes and tobacco by 0,47 percent , the housing ,
water , electricity gas and fuel had an inflation about 0,18 percent ,
clothing group of 0,26 percent , health sectors by 0,38 percent , the
group of education , recreation and sport.
