Abstract

The city of Madiun in March 2020 experienced inflation of 0.19 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 103.39. Of the eight districts / cities that calculate national inflation in East Java, 7 (seven) of them experienced inflation and 1 (one) city experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Jember by 0.34 percent with CPI of 104.62. The lowest inflation occurred in the city of Surabaya by 0.01 percent with CPI 104.26. Malang was the only city experiencing deflation, amounting to 0.41 with CPI of 102.86.
